The Jason Stillman Quartet is a Montreal-based ensemble featuring: Jason Stillman, alto sax; Josh Rager, piano; Fraser Hollins, bass; and Dave Laing, drums. The group's repertoire consists primarily of Stillman's original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards. Stylistically, these compositions-as well as the group's sound-fall somewhere between the post-bop and contemporary jazz idioms. Stillman’s rich tone and creative invention combined with plenty of solid group interaction make for an enjoyable listening experience.

Jason Stillman Quartet est composé de Stillman au sax alto et l'une des meilleures sections rythmiques à Montréal: Josh Rager, piano; Fraser Hollins, basse; et Dave Laing, batterie.
Le répertoire du groupe est constitué de compositions et d'arrangements originaux de Stillman. Stylistiquement, les compositions ainsi que le son du groupe se situe quelque part entre le post-bop et idiomes de jazz contemporain, mais la voix distincte de Stillman est décidément la sienne et est facilement identifiable.
