Party: Paddle the Grassy

An informal paddle down the Grassy River - Sunday June 28th.
Meet at the Boxing Club (old Confed arena) at 10:30 then drive up to high point and paddle down back to the bridge on Dalton Road. We'll leave at least one vehicle at the bottom so we can arrange getting back up to our vehicles.

The drive is about 20km down Dalton then about 12 on the logging road just after the bridge over the grassy. Then left on a short little path to a parking lot about 2km.
Lots of place to park, good roads so car is fine.

The trip is about 20km - all with the current - so an easy paddle - move forward even without paddling. Lots of places to stop for a rest along the way - sand bars - a picnic area. Some faster water - but you can walk your boat along the shore if you are concerned about the speed.

Feel free to invite your friends anyone can join in - there is no cost unless you are renting a boat.

This is just an informal paddle - no guide - no instruction - although I am sure that the more experienced paddlers will be glad to help out the novice - its just the way paddlers are. :)
