The Show is a tribute to the music of the Motown Era. From Soul to Funk - Motown held the number one spots on all music charts for many years. Remember and honour the songs and singers who evoked emotions from their audiences and provided the soundtrack to the 60s and 70s cultural upheaval. As Platinum Presents the Best of Motown, Shane Tapper and Kath Cannings take the audience through a memorable walk of fame with hit after hit.

Combining the undeniable talents of Shane Tapper (Guest Entertainer for the past 10 years - Royal Caribbean / Norwegian Cruise Lines), and Kath Cannings (lead Vocalist of one of Sydney’s Premier Party Bands - Jack’s Avenue). Their rich harmonies and infectious energy will have you singing along, and dancing in the aisles. Shane has just returned to Australia following 10 years as Guest Entertainer on some of the Worlds’ largest Cruise Ships, and headlining in some of the most prestigious 5 star Hotels throughout the U.S. and Asia. Kath Cannings comes from an extremely musical family and started singing at the age of 6 months !! She has been at home on stage since a child and has more recently been performing as Lead Vocalist for one of Sydneys’ premier Party Bands - Jacks Avenue. The result is PLATINUM.
