Not sure if you have the energy to dance all night? We've taken inspiration from the maid cafes of Japan as we allow you to taste and devour delicious free sushi from our cute, sexy catgirls and catboys. Dance the night away, chill out with other awesome anime fans, dress up and get your photo taken in the photobooth, play Cards Against Humanity, drink delicious anime cocktails and enjoy all the fun that is the world of Neko Nation! Teaming up with the JoyPad crew, in association with retrospekt.com.au, has run many amazing chiptunes and gaming events over the last four years. Initially running events solely focusing on chiptunes and retrogames, Joypad has continually experimented and broadened it's scope to including live music acts, themed videogame nights, gaming tournaments, and a variety of DJs playing music across a variety of genres. At any given event you might hear a mix of chiptune, synthwave, electro, mashups, anime/J-pop, dance, breakbeat, and gaming tunes...and of course music just to make you LOL.

JoyPad recently were involved in coordinating AVCon After Dark with a number of renowned interstate live acts, as well as hosting our semi-regular events showcasing some of Adelaide's up and coming nerdy, synth, chiptune, and dance live acts and DJs. JoyPad looks forward to again showcasing some of our favourite local geeky music talent, as well as consoles for you all to play on the night. ヾ（〃＾∇＾）ﾉ♪

Welcome to a party that feels like a magical anime wonderland being brought to life!
