Le nom French Boutik traduit très bien la vision du modernisme français; c’est à la fois amusant et troublant ce mélange schizophrénique de deux exotismes, la pop anglaise et française, qui ne se comprendrons peut-être jamais. Et puis ça sonne! Le groupe tient à mixer le français et l’anglais, dans des chansons qui marient peinture sociale et ironie tout en gardant une fraicheur pop à la kinks, dutronc, ou xtc.
