Party: Dartford Valley RFC 2016 AGM

Dear All

Dartford Valley RFC committee have booked our Annual General Meeting which is to be held on Saturday 7th May from 1pm. We kindly request that any member of the club that would like to put themselves forward for a position on the committee kindly email [email protected] by 27th April. Contained within the email should be your full name, the position that you would like to put yourself forward for and a short paragraph about why you should be considered for the role. The roles are as follows;

The club Executive Committee shall consist of the following members:

• Chairman of the Club,
• Director of Rugby,
• Media & Marketing officer,
• Honorary Secretary,
• Honorary Club Development Director,
• Honorary Treasurer,
•Captain of the Club

The club General Committee, reporting directly to the club Executive Committee, shall consist of the
members of the club Executive Committee, plus the following other club officials:

• Honorary Fixture Secretary,
• Honorary Social Secretary,
• Youth Academy Section Representative,
• Wheel Chair Section Representative,
• Ladies Section Representative,
• Men’s Section Representative,
• Club Section Coaches (appointed),
• Club Assistant Coaches (appointed)
The club General Committee shall meet monthly.
Role responsibilities/descriptions will be clearly defined and published in a location readily accessible by club membership

The other Subsidiary Committees, reporting directly to the club Executive Committee, shall be as follows:
• Social Committee,
• Ladies Rugby Committee,
• Youth Academy Committee,
• Wheelchair Rugby Committee,
• Club Development /Special Projects Committee,

**Only the Excom will be elected at the agm and that it is their first task to coordinate the election / selection of other open roles but people can put themselves forward now for those roles**
