Party: Mountain Lakes (visiting) / Telepoetic / Minus T

Polish indie/electronica band Mountain Lakes comes to CJC for the first time this Thursday. Inspired by and developed through travel and observing one’s surroundings, one third of the band, “Wayne develops the music, concepts and production to reflect this feeling of rational observation. The wandering electronic rhythms are embellished by the Polish section of the band. Guitarist Kuba brings a harmonious expanse and vocalist Joanna delivers a breath of clarity.”

The event is in cooperation with the Embassy of Poland in Cairo.

Post-rock electronic Alexandrian trio Telepoetic are next up in this killer line-up, mesmerizing us as always with the best contradiction possible: An experimental, raw yet tight and melodic sound.

Minus T will take over for the rest of the night for a good dose of his funky fresh and groovy beats, sure to keep us on our toes till the wee hours of the morning!
