With our classes bigger and better then ever, thought we would take a group outing to Sydney's biggest and oldest social! We're going in force so that the newer dancers will have more people to dance and hang with, and you'll meet many more dancers and friends over the course of the night!
Evening will start at 7 where you can either join Derek for a Level 2 class, or join Lani for a drink/a bite. At 8pm there's a Level 1 class if you want to shake the dust off, and then at 9pm Newtown are taking over the "Cat's Corner" at Swing Pit!
Invite anyone you want to come see this swing dancing thing, and we look forward to sharing what will be some of your first social dancing experiences!
Note: The Cat's Corner was a space in the Savoy Ballroom where the better dancers would go dance and cut loose! While we don't actually have a Cat's Corner in Sydney because we promote that everyone should dance with everyone, just too good of an opportunity to miss in staking out a like piece of Swing Pit for our amazing Newtown dancers!
PS. Social is $8 per person, or classes are regular price but include entry into the social
