Bio:
Kiti Gartner & The Deceits are a Rockabilly/Roots band out of Washington DC, USA. Their influences range from classic Sun Records to music recorded at the Quonset Hut and RCA Studio B in the 50s/60s. Together since 2013, they have been enthusiastically welcomed by audiences and venues across the mid-Atlantic, with Kiti Gartner's voice and range drawing comparisons to singers as diverse as Janis Martin, Patsy Cline and Dolly Cooper. Backed by the Deceits, a veteran core of musicians who have been on the rockin' scene for decades (with extensive recording and touring experience with acts such as The Droptops, The Garnet Hearts, Arty Hill, Danny Gatton and more), the band continues to bring a rockin' cocktail of great American music to audiences near and far.
