With 3 radio releases in 2016 being played nationally across Canada and in countries throughout Europe and in Australia, Ben shares, “I write about what is true to me, friends, and family. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m extremely thankful and very blessed to have people in my life who believe in me, and are behind my every move each step of the way.” Klick’s last EP release, “Today”, was produced and recorded in Nashville, TN by Clay Krasner and RyLee Madison of 7-17 Music. “It was an amazing experience to work with such a professional and well respected team,” says Klick, “from my co-writers, and all the Nashville musicians, through the production and engineering of this project, I am extremely proud of this record and hope that people enjoy it as much as I loved being a part of its creation!” Keep your ears open for new music early in 2017.
Over the years, Ben has built three of his own guitars, a ukulele, and is continuously writing, rehearsing, performing, learning, and developing as an artist. “Playing guitar and creating music has always been my passion from a young age,” explains Klick, “and it allows me to express myself. When I build guitars, I get to put my own creativity into the construction of them, which contributes to my sound, and how I play.”
Talent, commitment, sacrifice, and attitude are the four words Ben Klick, lives by. Klick is establishing himself as a guitar slinging, unique, high energy and interactive country artist.
With country and folk at his roots, Ben Klick is a “Guitar Pickin' Country Gentleman.”
HEADLINER'S - CHRIS BUCK BAND: http://chrisbuckband.com
Chris Buck Band is The BC Country Music Association (BCCMA) reigning 2015/2014 “Country Club Act of the Year” and 2015 “Group or Duo of the Year”, who has performed over 150 live shows this past year, earning them quickly the reputation as one of the busiest country performers on the West coast of Canada, performing at every major festival and venue the province has to offer, which includes having the opportunities to open for artists such as Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Colt Ford and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band to name a few. Their live show is fun, energetic and always captivating. With a twist of a country/reggae/rock sound, it’s hard for any music fan to sit still during their live set.
Chris Buck Band didn’t always play and perform their own music. The band was formed when Chris Buck lost his good friend to cancer at the age of 13. Music was a big inspiration and healing process for Chris: “I decided to pursue music harder than ever at that time, and began writing and playing guitar almost every day, which had me then start a cover band. The cover band really helped me learn how to perform and eventually we became one of the busiest bands in BC.”
Their debut 2015 single, “Leave Your Light On”, was received very positively and hit “Top 40” on Canadian Country Radio Billboards (BDS Charts). The follow up single, “Giddy Up”, peaked at #34 on Canadian Country Radio Charts, and was “Top 10” on iTunes (Country) for 4 weeks straight, and their music video for “Giddy Up” was added to CMT Canada.
The boys signed a management deal with Bailey Way Entertainment and recently were added both to the well respected Sakamoto Entertainment & Royalty Records rosters.
New music from Chris Buck Band, Produced by Jeff Johnson (George Canyon (Producer), Wes Mack (Co-writer/Producer), Dallas Smith (Co-writer), Madeline Merlo (Co-writer) is OUT NOW - Have a listen to their latest single - SUN SETS DOWN.
