Billy In The Low Ground
It’s always difficult to categorise a band that plays their own original material. Billy in the Lowground are often shoe-horned into the pigeonhole marked ‘Folk Rock’, mainly because they’re loud and there’s a distinct Irish influence courtesy of fiddle player Ruth Behan, but the sound is continuously evolving, incorporating elements of Country, Rock, and yes, Folk. The many line-up changes over the years have actually strengthened the band, as every new member brings something new into the mix.
Comparisons have often been made with the Waterboys and the Levellers, but there’s a distinctive tone to the band that’s all their own.

The Ben Robey Band
Ben R.'s band delivers an authentic, polished sound. For almost four decades Mike (Lead Guitarist) has been mastering his technique and sound which Ben knew would compliment his work. Ben "Butters" (Bassist) has been playing music venues since the age of 14 and now at the age of 22 he has joined Ben and the band to add his own personal style to the rhythm section. Steve (Drummer) and Ben met at a music Diploma course back in 2010 where they also met Butters. Ben and Steve have played together a few times 2011 and now for 2015 Ben was very delighted for Steve to agree to play full time with him and the Band "I'm nothing without my band," he said. "I'm truly blessed to work with such gifted, dedicated musicians."
