Party: FONIT

Born in León, a small town in the North of Spain, he started to play in clubs at age 15, but even as
a young child, Fonit stole cassette tapes and vinyls from his older brothers to listen to in secret.
This helped spawn his melomaniac development in music. He reflects all these influences on his sessions, creating a melancholic sound by forging a perfect balance between melodies full of feelings and strong bases, always giving a personal warm-dark sound to his work. He always thinks a session is like telling a story, a build up of emotions.
He has developed performances with several artists, painters, photographers, and writers, for
art museums such as the MUSAC (León), the MACUF (A Coruña) and the MFA (Gijón). Fonit
has also played in audio-visual performances with the Spanish video jockey collective, VjSpain
(www.vjspain.com) and collaborates on music sessions with creativity and design blog, Evasèe
(www.evasee.com).
Fonit currently resides in Berlin producing with DJ Diego Cadierno (Madrid) under the alias
