The Martin Luther King Jazz Awards honor individuals who have contributed to enriching the community, advancing cultural awareness through music and art, and furthering economic opportunity while adhering to the principals of non-violence.
Immediately following the ceremony, the public is invited to join the honorees for a special command performance featuring the renowned Jazz vocalist Germaine Bazzle and talented bassist Peter Harris. The performance begins promptly at 8 pm.
