Welcome to a Real Reality Show. Scott Long tells his story of growing up in the Cornstalk Ghetto of Iowa and how an extremely dysfunctional childhood put him on the path to 1 of 2 careers; standup comedy or serial killing. Fortunately for all of us, cracking wise has worked well for him!
No two Scott Long performances are ever the same, as depending on the audience he can bring a PG to R-rated show. His latest show is called Good Dad…Not a Great Dad and it’s a hilariously edgy, but sometimes poignant exploration of having twins at 40 years old. The CD of this show has gotten great reviews, which includes what the comedy website Under the Gun said… “I’ve listened to and reviewed 52 comedy albums in 2013, but Scott Long’s is probably the one that touched me the most.“
Scott has been seen on NBC, FOX, ESPN, and the Bob and Tom Show. For the past 11 years he’s written the comedy sketches for the NFL on FOX pregame show. Scott has also written a book of comedic essays entitled Dysfunctional Thoughts of a 21st Century Man, plus released 2 comedy CD’s and 2 comedy DVD’s. His standup comedy blog, Fly Over Comedy (scottcomedy.com) gets 1000′s of hit each week.
