Electronic group Rat & Co, recently described by Tone Deaf as one of Melbourne's 'best kept secrets', have released their second album Binary in 2014. The album has been quick to receive critical recognition in Australia which reached #7 in the Itunes Electronic Charts in the first week of release. In June 2014, Rat & Co joined Chet Faker on his national tour to promote the release of his #1 ARIA album 'Built on Glass' and on his European Tour in 2013.
"The fact that their music is so enthralling despite its minimal vocal usage
is another testament to this band's incredible talent."
- INDIE SHUFFLE (USA)
"A mellow, hip-hop influenced instrumental with a warm, organic side."
- PIGEONS AND PLANES (USA)
"You will thoroughly approve this."
- NOISEY (USA)
Rat & Co will be joined by anonymous act Hoodlem. Things have been moving fast for Hoodlem since their debut single 'Through' was released July last year. Their RnB grooves blend pulsing experimental beats, soulful vocal hooks and crisp production. Hoodlem's fresh tracks have resonated with international audiences receiving blog love worldwide, MS MR even included on of their tracks in their mixtape series Track Addict Vol. IV.
Sean Nicholas Savage is a Canadian Singer and Balladeer.
In 2014 he released Bermuda Waterfall. Savage’s gift for bracing, timeless song craft and prowess as a philosopher reaches a new zenith with Bermuda. The album offers the opportunity to observe the fascinating evolution of a truly one-of-a-kind artist and confident expansion of his artistic palette. His most emotionally thematic work since Other Life and Flamingo before it. Savage touches always on a theory or profound observation and comes to at least a suggested point in his pop, drama compositions. Perhaps the pinnacle attraction of his work are these observations, learned wisdoms, the ongoing adventures shaping Savage himself, the Artist, the Performer, the Narrator.
Once a staple spectacle performance in Montreal’s all night illegal party scene, Savage has since taken to consistent touring and producing wherever he may be, in the past two years.
Throughout Europe and North America, his dates vary from subdued solo performances to full band power ballad shows and in between, each incarnation renowned as captivating and inspirational.
