Nicole Brophy has an earthy voice and style compared to the likes of PJ Harvey, Lucinda Williams & La Roux. Stylistically she fits somewhere in between alt-country and blues inspired roots based rock.

Nicole has travelled extensively throughout Australia and overseas performing to thousands at some of the biggest music festivals, both as part of her previous band Dirty Lucy and as guitarist/backing vocalist for the past 4 years in the Kate Miller-Heidke touring band.

After finishing up an incredible 4 years of touring & performing with Kate, Nicole is now refocused on making her own mark on the music world as the front woman of her own show. Powerful earthy vocals combined with soulful melodies, rawness and her gutsy blues/rock guitar style is making a lasting impression on the live music scene.

Nicole has also recently toured with Kim Churchill, Caravana Sun, Tex Perkins, Gossling, Dawn, Sarah McLeod, Paul Greene and Monique Brumby and is currently completing the finishing touches on her latest album recorded in a farmhouse in the Southern Highlands of NSW, co-produced by Syd Green and soon to be released.
