The Sarah Smith Quartet plays gypsy jazz with authentic passion, fire and virtu-osity. This band is keeping the spirit of the music of Django Reinhardt and Sté-phane Grappelli alive. As well as making many television and radio appearances, Violinist Sarah has been a session musician for the BBC. She has toured Europe extensively, as well as Canada. Sarah was awarded “Best Young Performer” by N/C Magazine. As a member of Inspector Gadjo, she won first place at an Inter-national Gypsy Jazz Festival in 2009. Sarah has performed with some of the world’s top Gypsy and Swing jazz musicians, including Gary Potter, Frank Vignola, and Martin Limberger.
