Heartfelt and Handmade Music @ Torstrassenfestival 2014 (Mein Haus am See)

Beast in a pocket (Electro Live) - Beast In A Pocket are berlin-based streetperformers. They create and destroy soundscapes via beat machines, synthielines and filters with electronic live improvisation decorated with dynamic vocals, fragile, minimal, soulful, deep, trippy, dubby and funkadelic noizy" https://soundcloud.com/beast-in-a-pocket/over
Aletchko (Balkan Beats) - If you do appreciate Balkan groove, Oriental sound and upbeat instrumental music - you should not miss this violinist, who recently came to Berlin - Aletchko. Hi was raised on classical music, but later moved to Tel Aviv and learned there rhythms and colors of local middle eastern culture. Now we have this crazy mix of Russian virtuosity and Mediterranean temper. To make a long story short - Must see!

Kat Vinter is an Australian independent songwriter/artist living in Berlin, calling the city home after passing through on a European songwriting trip. Searching high and low for vibes and collaborations, she eventually found the ultimate match in a local German beat master Hannes Büscher and a Norweigan poet Laila Samuels.
The next 2 years were spent between the creative hub of Berlin and the peace and isolation of a small cabin on the border of Sweden and Norway, crafting layers of hip hop inspired beats, tribal drums, waves of synths and aching ethereal vocals. The result is a lush and mysterious soundscape of brooding, beat driven pop music with moments of darkness and light, beauty and tension.

Andrra (Albanian Folk) - "We as a people have created great songs throughout our history and I refuse to consider them as unfashionable. I love to sing them and I want them to be heard." Fatime Kosumi

Janine Villforth (Singer/Songwriter) - the 18 year old songwriter cites influences ranging from Feist and Matt Corby right through to the old soul classics. Weaving thoughtful lyrics with catchy melodies, Janine Villforth is set to leave audiences mesmerised with a rich smokey voice far beyond her years. https://soundcloud.com/janine-villforth/bad-sin
