CLUBS AND SPADES
Two MCs (Matic Mouth/Shinobi) and two producers/beatmakers (Andy Nicholson/Manakin) with one aim… to create unique, original, artist-themed music for the masses. No strangers to the stage, each has earned their stripes in their chosen areas and now they have combined their efforts and love of music to create something far greater than the sum of its parts.
Adding to the current in-house production, Andy and Manakin have worked extensively with upcoming and established artists including Terri Walker, Tom Prior and DRS (Broke’n English), under the pseudonym ‘Sticky Blood’. Always looking to break down barriers and create new sounds by utilising sampling techniques or learning and playing live instruments, the musical backbone of Clubs & Spades certainly looks set to stand the test of time.

This man needs no introduction, but if we have to...UK DMC finalist and Redbull Thr3style UK finalist Andy H combines turntablism with good old skool party rocking. Resident at the biggest mid-week hip-hop, dubstep and drum n’ bass night in the UK, The Tuesday Club in Sheffield. Regularly playing to crowds in excess of 1000 every week, alongside the very best in the scene, including Skream, Benga, DJ Craze, Kentaro, Scratch Perverts and DJ Qbert. Originally specialising in Hip-Hop but just as happy dropping Dubstep, Drum & Bass or anything that gets the crowd jumping. With releases on various labels including Tru Thoughts, Fierce Panda and his own label First Word Records, home of The Haggis Horns, Kidkanevil and 6ix Toys.

WALL OF BALLS ALL STARS
Local lads Hal the Impaler, Seedy Beats and Jim Kong iLL have been dropping funk and hip hop for time. They had a 3 year residency at The Harley back in the day but can mainly be found at underground parties in Sheffield nowadays.
