A pioneering leader in the international house scene, DJ Shilen started his career in 2004. Within a couple of years of his entry in the music scenario Shilen got into the limelight with top notch artists and musical luminaries by sharing stages with Protoculture, Jerome Isma ae, Paul Thomas, Ashley Wallbridge, Michael and Levan, Weekend Heroes, Junk DnA, Nucleya, Sanjay Dutta, Nikhil Chinapa, Nawed Khan, DJ SHAAN (Tomorrowland Fame) and many more famous personalities. His unique groove and high quality mixing, has made him one of the masters in the progressive genre in the city today and thus a popular name in the EDM industry.


Shilen has one of the most unique and distinguished progressive sounds, combining influences of trance and techno with distinguished drum patterns and rumbling bass lines making him one of the highest-selling and most sought after progressive house acts on the scene today. His rumbling beats build up the tension on the dance floor adding subtle, yet clearly crafted layers which are instantly recognizable the second you hear the first kick


Besides working in Famous Bollywood and International Music, he is a veteran of the business with over 12 years of experience under his belt and currently performing about 100 gigs, private events round the year in cities all over the country like Mumbai, Delhi ,Pune, Goa, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Udaipur etc..

In his early years, Shilen started out as a dedicated disco/soul/funk Dj and is known for his massive collection of rare and powerful dance music . Not bringing you to surprise, his love for soulful music still is a big influence in his progressive-house sets. He has played at all major venues like twice in Sunburn Gujarat, including clubs like Fbar (Mumbai), Club MIAMI (pune), Fire * Flames(Jaipur), Club Escape(MUMBAI), Xtacy (Ahmedabad), ”Bandish Project Nites”(gigs concept by Bandish project), 'One Beat Edm fest", GMF india... etc.

With his firm belief in giving a redefinition to entertainment events,Shilen with a team of dedicated music lovers started Defacto entertainment. Over the last 3 years SHAAN has been featured at a lot of VVIP parties, Underground parties such as #Tag(Ahmedabad 's biggest new year gig), Sandstrom and many renowned parties across the country. SHAAN has played alongside big names from indian & international artist like Breger, Katusha svoboda, dj litchi, Ash Roy.
