Get your FEET STOMPING and have some fun in this 6-week ADULT Level 1 Beginning Flamenco Dance Class!
This is the class to start with if you are brand new to flamenco. Geared towards new beginners and others who want a gentle pace, we will concentrate on the basics while we get fit and have lots of fun!
We’ll be playing with shawls and fans part of the time, so if you have your own, please bring it. Otherwise, don’t worry. We have some suggestions for class.
Though this class is geared to adults, we welcome young adults and any parents who want to come with their young adults ...ask about our special family rate**
Dates: Thursdays January 12th - February 16th
Time: 6:00 to 7:00 PM
Location: ALMA FLAMENCO DANCE STUDIO DOWNTOWN, Drinkle Mall (basement mall), 115 Third Ave South (next to Spicy Bites Restaurant). parking is free after 6pm!!!!

Or sign up in person on the first day of class, if the class isn't already full. You can try out and do a drop-in fee for a special rate drop in for NEW students only for $15 for your first class on Thursday, January 12th. Or sign up for the full 6 week session for $100. You can pay at the first day of class with cash or check. No credit or debit cards accepted at this time.
Please note that January 12th will be the only drop-in class of this session.
The regular cost of a single class is $20, so you are saving money on this introductory class.
ABOUT INSTRUCTOR KARI ALBA:
.....Learn from one of Saskatoons pioneer Flamenco Dance Artists. Kari Alba has lived and trained in Spain cumalatively for over 4 years; attended the Teacher Specialization certification at La Fundacion Cristina Heeren Flamenco in Seville, Spain in 1998 and performed internationally and nationally with distinguished flamenco professionals such as Ricardo Diaz (SF USA/Spain), Mercedes Amaya (Mexico/Spain), Manuel Tañe (Spain), and Juan Martin (Spain).
